How to Order Specimens from Swartkrans Minerals

  • When viewing a Mineral Specimen's details there will be a link at the bottom: 'Add to Shopping Cart'. Select this link if you are interested in this specimen. It will then be added to your shopping cart.

  • After selecting all the Mineral specimens you are interested in, click on the 'cart' menu item at the top to see what you ordered.

  • Fill out the form at the bottom, supplying as much information as possible with regards to delivery address.

  • Upon receiving your tentative order: insurance, shipping costs and packaging will be calculated.

  • You will then be contacted via email with the final amount and our banking details.

  • Upon receiving payment, the specimen will then be shipped off to the delivery address supplied.

  • From the date of sending the email with the final amount to you, the specimens selected by you will be reserved for 14 days only, thus payment must be made within this period.

    • Return Policy

    If in the event that you are not satisfied with the mineral specimens you received, you may return it to us within 14 days of receiving the specimens. However you will be responsible for the following costs: shipping and insurance to the same value that we sent it off with. If the parcel gets lost somehow, it is your responsibility to claim the insured money from the insurers of the shipping company that you used. If the returned mineral specimens are damaged in any way, you will not be refunded. Also a 10% handling fee on the original price of the items returned will be charged.
